Tea for One is a wall installation I created as part of a one-year residency in a school in Devon, England. The use of the repetitive pattern was initially inspired by a trolley of identical white cups and saucers in the school canteen. It stands for the anonymity of the collective space and is used as a canvas to record multiple narratives connected to my time at the school. The work is an exploration of the link between drawing and object, and illustrates a personal journey within a new environment.
